Principal’s Message
 

Dear Winegard Elementary Patriots and Families, 

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! 

It is with great excitement and tremendous pride that I introduce myself as the new principal of Winegard Elementary School. I am honored to join this incredible community and cannot wait to meet each of our students and families as we begin an amazing year together. 

Before we look ahead, I want to take a moment to celebrate all that you accomplished last year. Students, your hard work, perseverance, and dedication to learning did not go unnoticed. Whether you were mastering new skills, overcoming challenges, showing kindness to others, or achieving personal goals, you should be proud of your growth. Families, thank you for the countless ways you supported your children and our school community. Your partnership is an essential part of every student's success. 

As we embark on a new school year, our theme is "To Infinity and Beyond!" Inspired by the spirit of exploration, courage, and possibility, this theme reminds us that there is no limit to what we can achieve when we believe in ourselves, work hard, and support one another. 

This year, I challenge every Patriot to: 

• Dream big and set ambitious goals. 

• Believe in your abilities and embrace challenges as opportunities to grow. 

• Show kindness and respect to everyone you meet. 

• Work hard every day, even when learning becomes difficult. 

• Reach beyond what you thought was possible and discover your unique potential. 

At Winegard Elementary, we are committed to ensuring that every student feels safe, valued, supported, and inspired to learn. Together, we will create classrooms where curiosity thrives, friendships flourish, and achievement is celebrated. We will encourage one another to take risks, persevere through challenges, and continue reaching "to infinity and beyond" in our learning and personal growth. 

Students, I want you to know that I already believe in you. I believe in your talents, your potential, and your ability to make this your best year yet. There will be exciting opportunities to learn, lead, create, and shine. I encourage you to arrive each day ready to give your best effort and take pride in being a Winegard Patriot. 

Families, thank you for trusting us with your children's education. I look forward to building strong relationships with you and working together to ensure every child succeeds. When schools and families partner together, extraordinary things happen for students. 

As we begin this journey, let's embrace the adventure ahead with excitement, optimism, and determination. The future is bright, and together we will achieve great things.
